Faucet Repair — Your Questions Answered

Should I repair or replace a leaking faucet?
If the faucet is under 5 years old and a name-brand unit (Moen, Delta, Kohler), a cartridge swap is usually the right call — cheap and quick. If it's older, corroded, or a bargain-brand, replacement is smarter because you'll be back fixing it in a year.
How much does faucet replacement cost?
Labor is a flat service price based on the faucet type (kitchen, bathroom, tub, shower). Parts depend on the faucet you pick. We'll quote both separately so you know exactly what you're paying for.
What brands do you install?
Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, and Brizo are our recommended brands — proven reliability and parts availability for future repairs. We can install customer-supplied faucets too, but we'll flag it if the brand is known for problems.
Can you fix a leaking single-handle shower?
Yes. Most single-handle shower leaks are a worn cartridge or O-rings — typically a 1-hour repair. If the valve body itself is corroded or cracked, we replace the full valve, which is a bigger job but still done in a single visit.
Do you supply the faucet or should I buy it?
Either works. We stock popular models for same-day install, or you can pick one online/at a showroom and we'll install it. Just buy the whole unit, not a used or partial kit.
How long does faucet replacement take?
Kitchen or bathroom sink faucet: 45-90 minutes. Tub/shower valve: 1-3 hours depending on access. Most are same-day service with a licensed tech in a branded FIXALL truck.
