My disposal hums but doesn't spin — is it dead?
Probably not. A humming disposal usually has a jammed flywheel — the motor is running but can't turn. Don't keep forcing it or you'll burn out the motor. There's a reset button on the bottom and a hex port to manually unjam it. We fix this regularly in under 30 minutes.
Repair or replace — how do I decide?
If it's under 8 years old and the repair is under half the replacement cost, repair is almost always worth it. If it's older, leaking from the bottom, or the motor is burned out, replacement is the smarter call. We'll give you both numbers and let you decide.
Why is my disposal leaking?
Location tells us everything: top of the unit = loose or failed sink flange seal. Side of the unit = cracked dishwasher inlet or drain connection. Bottom of the unit = internal seals are gone and the unit needs replacing. We diagnose fast.

What shouldn't I put down a disposal?
